Practice RA

This a practice RA (like a quiz). It is based on the syllabus.  ALL STUDENTS WHO COMPLETE THIS ON TIME WILL RECEIVE A 100% (I will adjust your grade after the due date). 

Please note the questions appear 3 times each. This is intentional.  There should be ONE CORRECT ANSWER. If you're sure your correct choose the same answer each time.  This practice RA is designed to familiarize you with the RA process. 

Instructions:
1. Students are on their honor -- no book,  no taking the RA together. There are tools in Canvas to identify dishonest behavior.

2. To lessen the likelihood of dishonest behavior, the RA will be timed and students can only access it once.

3. Do not wait until the last minute  -- see syllabus "Students are expected to be proactive and to plan ahead so that there will be sufficient time to do their best and be less affected by unforeseen events.  ... Students are also expected to be technologically functional." 

4. Each question appears three times.  This is purposeful and designed to help students practice META-COGNITION (thinking about what one does not know, what one knows, and how confident one is in his/her answers). Basically, students are being asked to show their certainty in their answers. If a student is sure about a particular answer, he/she should answer the same question the same way each time. THERE IS ONLY ONE CORRECT ANSWER for each question.   If you find that you want to select different answers for the same question or you get the answer incorrect, this shows that this information is not very clear to you and you should go back and review it.
